Project 46 is a student-led pediatric cancer advocacy initiative dedicated to improving equitable access to childhood cancer care through research, healthcare policy, physician collaboration, and community education.

Every year, thousands of children and their families face barriers that extend beyond a cancer diagnosis. Long travel distances, transportation challenges, limited access to pediatric specialists, and disparities in clinical trial availability can make receiving timely, high-quality care significantly more difficult—particularly for families in rural and underserved communities.

Project 46 works to identify these barriers through evidence-based research and collaboration with pediatric oncologists, researchers, and advocacy organizations. By translating scientific literature into accessible educational resources and actionable policy recommendations, we hope to promote a healthcare system where every child has the opportunity to receive the care they need.
